A vs. S
There is a huge difference between Apple (A) and Samsung (S). This is for technical people. However, for
ordinary people, who use cell phone just for call, A and S are considered as if
they are same. The paper will do: rubric #1, 2, 3, 4, and give a brief
conclusion.
According
to Diffen (n.d), the author examined the features of Apple iPad and Samsung
Galaxy Tab. It also compared and contrasted their difference as presented in
table 1 below.

By
compare and contrasting the available accessories,
potential for future upgrades, warranties, and available
support of iPad and the Galaxy Tab the following author is quoted below.
The iPad Pro takes the crown. From its slightly
more durable design to its superior processing power, the iPad Pro is our first
choice when it comes to a pro tablet. That’s not to say the Samsung Tab S4
is a slouch. Both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 and iPad Pro have one
major special feature: The S Pen and Apple Pencil,
respectively. Both styluses allow us to draw, sign documents, and take notes.
On Samsung’s newly updated S Pen, a button that will open a list of frequently
used apps for quick access. While thinking the Apple, Pencil is a much better
tool for creators, it costs $100, and needs to charge it. The S Pen is included with Tab S4 purchase, and it
doesn’t need charging. Durability-wise,
the Galaxy Tab S4 loses points for its all-glass body (Gorilla Glass 3). Apple
only has glass over the screen and aluminum on the back, which means not have to worry
about the back shattering after a drop. While Samsung’s glass back is nice, it
doesn’t serve a purpose other than design. There’s no wireless charging on the
tablet. In terms of processor power alone, the Galaxy Tab S4 has a powerful
Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, while the iPad Pro is packing Apple’s A10X
Fusion chip. Both have 4GB of RAM, which is plenty for multitasking. Apple’s
processor does edge out a win here because it’s more powerful than the
Snapdragon 835. Samsung is not as diligent about software and security updates
as Apple (Winkelman, 2018).
Rubric #3
According
to Kastrenakes (2015), the author discussed and rationalized that iPad is
suited for younger generations. In that sense,
the iPad Pro may not be a play for today's productivity market, but the
productivity market that develops in the years to come. It's very possible that
hybrid devices like the iPad Pro could begin to replace the typical laptop.
Already, some businesses seem to be adopting them on the grounds of portability
and ease of use — Apple is even working with IBM to develop specialized
software and services for professionals to work with. And if younger
generations prefer the touchscreen to the trackpad, the iPad Pro could
eventually become their main computer.
Rubric
#4
The paper recommended galaxy tab for price
sensitive and wiser technology users. It also rationalized that Android is still excellent, but issues generally arise
when companies add custom skins to the OS, which usually cause annoying bugs,
needlessly rework the UI and delay how quickly the devices can receive software
updates. If the users are firmly embedded
in either Google’s software eco-system, they
should still consider an Android tablet though
as many are significantly cheaper than Apple iPad and generally remain fine for
basic things, like web browsing and video streaming (Parker, 2018).
Conclusion
The
paper did rubric #1, 2, 3, and 4.
